  • Q: I already enrolled for eW2 last year. What do I need to do this year?
    A: Every year you must enroll for eW2 as a completely new user.

    Q: What is eW2 Enrollment?
    A: eW2 allows you to receive your current year Form W-2 electronically instead of a hard copy through the U.S Postal Service. When you register/sign-up for this service, you will need to have a valid e-mail address which will be confirmed during the registration process. This confirmation is performed by clicking on a link in the e-mail you receive during the registration process.

    Q: Can I change my e-mail address or elect not to receive my Form W-2 via e-mail?
    A: A: Yes, return to this website and select eW2 Signup/Update. Any changes must be made during the active enrollment period, which is open until the beginning of January.

    Q: Does an eW2 cost me anything?
    A: No, this is a free service.

    Q: Do I need to have ePay in order to register for eW2?
    A: No, eW2 is a completely different service.

    Q. I requested an eW2 but have not received notification that it is ready for me to download?
    A: If you signed up for an eW2, you should have received a confirmation e-mail with a link to verify your e-mail address. If you did not receive that e-mail, then your e-mail address was not validated in our system, and therefore you would not have received an eW2. All non-confirmed e-mail accounts will have the Form W-2 sent via USPS. If you did confirm your e-mail address and never received notification that your eW2 was ready to download, contact HR Services at 800 237 3459 or HR_Services@BoiseInc.com.

    Q: Do I have to sign up again for next years eW2 enrollment?
    A: Yes. You must re-register each calendar year.


    Q: I did not receive my registration confirmation e-mail. What do I do?
    A: If you do not receive an e-mail confirming your registration, please check your junk mail and spam filter for an e-mail from w2@billingdoc.com. If you do not find it in either place, you will need to go back into your registration screen online to verify that you have entered a valid e-mail address. All non-confirmed e-mail accounts will have the Form W-2 sent via USPS.

    Q. I received the eW2 PDF, however, I am unable to open it. What is the password it is asking for?
    A. The password to open the eW2 PDF is your Social Security number (without dashes).

    Q. I received the e-mail attachment, but I am unable to open the file. Why won't it work?
    A. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or greater to open this file. If you do not have this program you can get it for free from the link on our website home page. If you have Adobe Acrobat and still cannot open the PDF, try another computer. If you still cannot open the file, contact HR Services at 800 237 3459 or HR_Services@BoiseInc.com.

    Q: When can I anticipate receiving my eW2?
    A: Your employer has until January 31 to issue your eW2. Please do not inquire until after January 31.

    Q: Why can't I find my Form W-2 on the website?
    A: If you cannot locate your Form W-2 on our website, please contact HR Services at 800 237 3459 or HR_Services@BoiseInc.com.

    Q: Will the IRS accept a print out of my eW2?
    A: The IRS will accept your printed electronic Form W-2 statement. The IRS verifies all print submissions against the electronic information provided by your employer, so print copies and photocopies of Form W-2 documents are accepted. All Form W-2 documents you need are on one page.
